What a night of racing here at Vado Speedway Park Saturday, July 1st! Let’s give it up for our Feature Winners! 🔴⚫🟡🏁 Thank you to everyone for showing up and showing out! The #12 Mike Rosales out of Las Cruces, New Mexico, started 6th in his Hacienda Carpet & Tile USRA B-Mod, worked his way up, and held on getting him the win! He didn’t think he would still be racing, but he sure glad he still is! In second was Jake Gallardo and in third Chris Hooper!
No Stranger to Victory Lane, the #01 Dusty Riggs out of Hatch, NM, in his Hulsey Racing INEX Legend Car, started back in 12th and in a Dukes of Hazard fashion minus the Daisy Dukes drove it home hard & parked it up on Rio Grande Waste Services Victory Lane! In second place was Sean Salazar, and in third Kyle Burnette!
Keeping it clean all race, the #19 Wes Wofford out of Alamogordo, New Mexico, in his POWRI Jackson Compaction Winged Sprint Car, started up front in second and didn’t let anyone get past him after overtaking Mike Archuleta! In second was his blood Lorne Wofford and third, Justin Lasiter!
The #44 Christy Barnett out of El Paso, Texas, in her Johnstone Supply Super Truck, is addicted to winning and parking it up on victory lane! She has the momentum; let’s see what her next race brings! In second was Devan Smith and in third Michael Hartman!
His second weekend in a row #63 Mel Romero of Las Cruces, New Mexico, a sophomore at Las Cruces Highschool, took home his second feature win in his S.H. Automotive Pure Stock! His steering gave out at the end, but he muscled through and drove it home! Taking second was Sharri Minks and in third Jimmy Marta!
