Winners for September 2nd, 2023
The smell of race fuel, burning rubber, and fireworks filled the air on night 2 of our Labor Day Weekend Double Header 9/2/23 as these guys and gals raced around the track and onto victory lane! 
Taking Saturdayβs S.H. Automotive Feature win was Shane Helton out of Hollywood, NM! He had the best co-driver, his daughter! They have been fighting some overheating issues and were able to run a sweet race, swooping in on the last couple of laps! Second went to young gun David Garcia JR, and third, Sharrii Minks!
Sweeping the weekend, Aydan Saunders Out of El Paso, TX, was our Hulsey Racing Inex Legends Feature Winner on both nights 1 & 2! Night one paid $500 & night two $750! He didnβt let off the bottom, and it worked! Hot on his heels were Sean Salazar in second & in third Dusty Riggs.
For the second time in two nights, Slammin Sammy Swindell made it look easy here at Vado Speedway Park during our Feature POWRI 360 Winged Sprint Desert Series feature! With 53 years of experience, he knows a thing or two about wheelin a car! Traffic kept him on his toes, and he played it safe, not giving up his position! First place won $2,500! Taking second was Caleb Saiz & and third Don Grable!
Diego Alvarado, out of El Paso, Texas, took a bough as he picked up a feature win in his Hacienda Carpet and Tile X-Mod night two of our Labor Day Weekend Double Header! He kept it nice and simple and tried to race as smoothly as he could, which worked out! In second was Aasa Flores & third Donavon Flores.
Out of Rio Ranch, New Mexico, No stranger to Rio Grande Waste Services Victory Lane, The Hurricane Josh Cain was $1,000 richer after winning our night two Anthony Sosa Roofing Late Model Feature! In second was Jonathon Ortega & third Jeff Schildmeyer.
