We were blown away metaphorically and physically here at Vado Speedway Park Saturday, July 22nd, during Meet the Drivers Night #2! Even with some gusty weather and a lightning-filled sky, we got all our racing action in AND a fun-filled time down on the track during intermission getting to know our favorite drivers! 
In our Extreme Landscaping Stock Car Class, Rob Moseley, out of Los Lunas, NM, got his second (stock car) win at Vado Speedway Park! By a NOSE! McNutt left his line open on the last lap, where Moseley capitalized on it in turn four laying the hammer down and taking the win on the last lap of the race! Third went to Jonathan Burton!
A caution-riddled Hulsey Racing INEX Legends main with some gnarly wrecks didn’t stop Dusty Riggs from picking up another win at Meet the Drivers Night #2! He was in the right place at the right time! In second was Cale Riggs, and in third was Steven Mathe!
18-year-old Caleb Stelzig, out of Albuquerque, NM, took the lead and didn’t look back in his Sunset Grill Non-Winged Sprint Car! Nippin on his heels in second was JR Bonesteel, and third Colt Treharn!
With the rain coming and the slick getting slicker, Josh Cain decided to take the higher road or higher line, which worked in his favor, getting him the Anthony Sosa Roofing Late Model feature win! Running a great race behind him in second was Keko Perez, and in third was Ronnie Leathem Jr!
In his Rancho Milagro USRA Modified, Jake Gallardo rocketed to the front and navigated his way through lap traffic, getting him the win! Reading the track conditions has a big role, and Jake pulled it off! Behind him in second was Jimmy Ray, and in third Rick Ortega!
