With high wind and lightning moving across the speedway, the remaining program went onto weather standby and was not completed. Thank you to the drivers and crews behind all 77 entries, the fans who came to represent Doña Ana County, and the officials, safety crews, and track workers who kept people first as conditions changed.
The storm shortened the night. It did not take these two victories out of the record book.
