Wisconsin-based Pro Power Racing Engines is once again adding extra cash to three Dirt Track Bank Super Late Model programs presented by Black Diamond Race Cars during the upcoming 17th annual Rio Grande Waste Services Wild West Shootout presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts.
On January 7, 8, and 14 drivers, who finish just outside of a transfer spot in Dirt Track Bank Super Late Model B-main action at FK Rod Ends Vado Speedway Park, will get a chance at redemption. Each of the three nights, the first 10 non-transfer drivers will take part in the 10-lap Pro Power Racing Dash.
Each dash posts a $2,000 purse with the winner receiving $1,000 or the option to forfeit the winner’s purse and start at the tail of the night’s feature.
“Bill and Josie Schlieper from Pro Power Racing Engines are the type of people who go above and beyond to support racing. Not only are they one of our longest running sponsors, but just about every year they are on hand to not only support their clients but also any other racers who might need some engine help during the Wild West Shootout,” shared event director Ben Shelton. “With the money they add to the purse each year it gives several drivers a chance to make a little extra money on what otherwise might not have been the best of nights. We’re very grateful to have their support.”
