September 11th was First Responders Appreciation Night at the Vado Speedway Park and was hotly contested on Saturday, August 28th for the five divisions in action on the program and saw familiar faces picking up wins in all five divisions that were in competition.

Ryder McCutcheon continued his winning ways in the Claimer division by racing from his 11th starting spot to the lead and to yet another feature win. Jeremy DuBois, Jaden Manick Gallivan, Daniel Sanchez Jr and Sharrii Minks were able to run inside the top five for the majority of the event and finished the 15-lapper with top five finishes for their efforts.

From her 13th starting spot, Christy Barnett rallied to the front and raced off with the Super Truck feature win ahead of Javie Chavez and Lloyd Duffey after the 20-lap main event. The top three have been the top three all season long and Barnett was able to pick up the victory for her efforts. Chavez edged Duffey for second at the line, while Sherman Barnett and Jim Wallace ran in the top five.

Charlie Graham got out front at the start of the 305 Winged Sprint Car feature, but 7th starting Lorne Wofford was the class of the field as he raced from his 4th row starting spot into the lead and was able to race off to the win, ahead of Rick Ziehl and Vance Wofford. Ziehl tried to run down Wofford out front but was able to settle in to the second spot. Vance Wofford ran third with Royal Jones and Graham rounding out the top five.

Aydan Saunders raced to yet another INEX Legend feature win after racing from his 12th starting spot and withstanding challenges from 9th starting Josh Jackson and 10th starting Dusty Riggs. Jackson ran second at the checkered with Riggs third, ahead of Dustin Tilbury and Jason Irwin, who started 11th and 15th respectively.

Jonathon Ortega picked up a USRA Modified victory back on opening night in March and was able to race his #22 back into Western Tech Victory Lane on Saturday night after outrunning Jimmy Ray, Josh Cain, Nick Rivera and 13th starting Todd Harper for the win. Ortega started on the outside of the front row and lead every lap en route to his second win of the season. Ray crossed the line in second but had a tech infraction, which caused him to be disqualified, elevating Cain to second, with Rivera, Harper and Austin Adams in the top five.
