2021 Dropped Races Guidelines

Print this page
March 12, 2021

As a reminder to all racers that are planning on competing with us this season, you will be allowed to throw out/drop an event/events that will not count towards your track point total, depending upon the number of races scheduled per your specific division.

For example, any division that has more than 20 events scheduled will be allowed to throw out/drop their worst two (2) nights. Any division that has less than 20 events scheduled will be allowed to throw out/drop their worst one (1) night.

If a driver misses a show, that will count as a throw out/dropped night.

If a driver is disqualified for any reason at an event, that event will be counted toward your track point total and can not be used as a throw out/dropped night.

If an event rains out or is cancelled for any reason, that event will not be counted in the total. It will be as if that event never happened.

Specific Division Details:

The USRA Modifieds, B-Mods, Stock Cars, Legends, Claimers and Super Truck divisions all have more than 20 events scheduled, so all drivers in those divisions will be allowed to throw out/drop their worst two (2) completed events.

The Late Models, 305 Winged Sprint Cars and 360 Non-Winged Sprint Car divisions all have less than 20 events scheduled, so all drivers in those divisions will be allowed to throw out/drop their worst one (1) completed event.

All races beginning on March 20th will count towards 2021 track points with the final track point night for each class listed below:

Late Models – September 18th
Claimers and Super Trucks – October 2nd
Modifieds, B-Mods and Stock Cars – October 24th
360 Non-Wing Sprints, 305 Winged Sprints and Legends – November 27th
Let's get this season started!
