2021 Vado Speedway Park Schedule Released

The staff and management of the Vado Speedway Park in Vado, NM are excited to release a 40+ event schedule for 2021, which will kick off in late February and conclude in late November, giving fans and racers events across ten months to enjoy racing action at the state-of-the-art facility nestled on I-10 just between El Paso, TX and Las Cruces, NM.

The schedule will kick off during the final Saturday of the month of February (Feb 27th) with the Season Opener followed by the return of the Winter Meltdown during the first weekend of March with a pair of events on Friday and Saturday night, March 5th & 6th.

Racing action will continue weekly on Saturday nights all summer with several highlighted big events as follows:

*Friday and Saturday, April 9th & 10th – the NOS Energy Drink World of Outlaw Sprint Cars will make their debut at the Vado Speedway Park with a pair of events. USRA Modifieds and INEX Legends will be in competition those nights as well.

*Saturday and Sunday, May 29th & 30th, the newly formed POWRi 360 Winged Sprint Car Series will compete at VSP for two nights over the Memorial Day holiday weekend. Late Models, USRA B-Mods, Legends and Claimers will also be in action both nights.

*Saturday, July 10th will feature MVT Fireworks Night at the track. In addition to a spectacular fireworks display, Modifieds, Stock Cars, B-Mods, Claimers and Super Trucks will be in action on the track.

*Saturday and Sunday, September 4th & 5th will feature the second appearance of the POWRi 360 Winged Sprint Car Series. B-Mods, Stocks Cars, Legends and Claimers will also be in competition both nights.

*The Fall Nationals returns on October 22nd-24th with three nights of action-packed racing. Modifieds, B-Mods and Stock Cars will highlight the mega weekend.

*Monster Trucks will invade the Vado Speedway Park on Friday and Saturday, November 5th & 6th. Specific details coming soon.

*The annual Thanksgiving weekend Turkey Bowl will conclude the 2021 schedule on Friday and Saturday, November 26th & 27th. 360 Non-Winged Sprint Cars, 305 Winged Sprints, Legends and our annual Stock Car vs. Super Truck Showdown will highlight the holiday weekend.

Fans will have the opportunity to meet their favorite drivers in July as the track will features a pair of Meet the Drivers Nights, where fans will get to go onto the front stretch at intermission and meet their favorite racers on July 24th & 31st.

Another fan favorite will return to the 2021 schedule as the track will feature a Topless Night, where Modifieds and B-Mods will run without roofs in late September, on the 25th.

A new addition to the schedule for 2021 is our ‘Hot City Nights’ promotion. If fans have a valid driver’s license from the town/city that is listed on the schedule, they will be admitted into the grandstand are for just $5 on that night!

Additionally, the track will feature a Military Appreciation Night, a First Responder’s Appreciation Night and a College Night, where anyone with a valid id will be admitted FREE on their night.

Assuming the state of New Mexico allows mass gatherings in early 2021, this is our anticipated schedule of events and additional promotions are being planned as well, so fans should keep tuned in to www.VadoSpeedwayPark.com throughout the next few months for additional details.
