Due to the ongoing restrictions in the State of New Mexico surrounding COVID-19, the Vado Speedway Park has been forced to cancel the 2nd annual Turkey Bowl, which was scheduled to be the final event of the 2020 season over the course of the Thanksgiving Weekend.

With the cancellation, the 2020 season will officially be concluded and track management has begun the process of building the 2021 schedule. Currently, 39 races, a dozen practice nights and several other non-racing nights are on the tentative schedule, which will be released on December 1.

Congratulations to the drivers who raced into Vado Speedway Park victory lane during the Battle at the Border in January before the pandemic struck, including Chris Madden, Ricky Weiss and Cade Dillard in the World of Outlaws Late Models; Rodney Sanders in the USRA Modifieds (all three nights) and Fito Gallardo, Brock Gronwold and Jake Gallardo in the USRA B-Mods.

To stay up to date on all things Vado Speedway Park related, please keep checking the track’s website at VadoSpeedwayPark.com as well as the track’s social media channels.
